Soup Kitchen Rocks has built a stimulating event that captures the attention of Generation X and Generation Y's alike. Soup Kitchen Rocks started in a backyard, as a place where musicians, artist, designers, and film makers could show what they had in a more chill and relaxed environment.

Founded by Trisha Hanudel and Sujelia Avila, two girls who met through craigslist to collaborate on an experimental band together, the backyard parties soon became a regular event where people could come together and enjoy some good fun while stimulating their five senses.

In 2009, they were determined to expand the Soup Kitchen Rocks audience. They set out to find sponsors who would donate resources and support for the events, in which a portion of their donations would go to local non-profits. This collaboration would put companies who want to join the growing pro-social movement and look for ways to gain a positive association with their demographics via nontraditional marketing campaigns.

Soup Kitchen Rocks is about music, art, fashion, film, community, diversity, and entertainment! They are dedicated to bridging the gap between the young local communities who are socially driven, passionate for art, intelligent, tech savvy; and connecting them with brands who care about making a difference, supporting the arts, and bringing people together for an amplified creatively conscious world.
